Semantic colors follow the selected graphite or neon theme.
Color roles
| Canvas | --color-canvas → --bg. Graphite by default, black in the dark theme. |

| Surfaces | --color-surface → --surface; use --surface-2 for nested panels. |
| Text | --color-ink → --text; --color-muted → --muted. |
| Accent | --color-accent → --yellow. Reserve yellow for actions, selected states, and one headline accent. |
| Chrome | --chrome-grad provides the silver headline finish. Red remains in the source mark and legacy art; current headline accents use yellow. |
